Push-ups are at the top of the list, and according to Peter, Halle can do every variation. Pull-ups, bodyweight squats, and kettlebell swings also made the list.

One thing these exercises have in coming is that they're functional movements (movements we do everyday like pushing and pulling) and help build muscle and increase power and strength. Finishing the list, Peter insisted that people take up some form of boxing or martial arts for the ultimate conditioning and strengthening workout.

Halle Berry's "Fitness Friday" Instagram series. We feel like she's our fitness BFF (let us know when you want to get a workout in!) and love following her fitness evolution. The badass mother of two has been sharing a lot more about her workouts lately, and today she's given us a simple, 10-minute workout that only requires a dumbbell or a kettlebell. "If you're just starting out or if you're advanced in your fitness routine you can get a great workout with just one piece," Halle wrote in her caption. Get your blood flowing and muscles pumping with this full-body workout.

The workout:

  1. Push-up into a row
  2. Kettlebell or dumbbell snatch
  3. Single-arm overhead lunge
  4. Single-arm military press
  5. Squats
